Phi Alpha Chapter History

The Phi Alpha Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated was chartered by 14 fierce and flawless leaders on November 7, 2025, at Stevenson University. Rooted in the Sorority’s legacy of “Greater Service, Greater Progress,” the Phi Alpha Chapter embodies a forward thinking, student centered approach to service and empowerment. Public service, leadership development, and youth education are the core of this chapter’s programs and initiatives, allowing members to make a meaningful impact at Stevenson and in the surrounding community. With sisterhood and scholarship at its foundation, the Phi Alpha Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. strives to develop purposeful women and emerging leaders. Poised to become a powerful force of service and excellence, Phi Alpha stands ready to leave a lasting legacy for generations of Mustangs to come.
